I think the easiest way to make a model of the frog's digestive system is using different colors of clay =
you can make the different parts with different colors so they are easily identifiable.
print up some labels - and attach with tooth picks = you could make a matching label with functions to add to the side of your model.
I would make it large enough to see the different organs etc. = use the same color for same parts through out the frog's digestion.

ok? point is this. We start simple and build a knowledge base. Then as we advance, we learn about more complex models that are better approximations.

That is why it is college and NOT high school...people actually want to go there, and, pay to go there...it is competitive, and, as a result, not so necessary to monitor the behavior of the students because of the maturity level....
