Yes, but they send only those people who have a great deal of expertise in working locally, in their own countries, already regarding sex ed and HIV/AIDs education, particularly with teens, low-literacy populations, populations at high-risk, and religiously-conservative communities. join the peace corps and focus on teaching in Africa. I have a friend who is a biology major and is about to graduate, joined the peace corps and now will be teaching secondary grade science to african kids.

If "by a while" you mean two years, you can try applying for the Peacecorps. That's the only way you might get there for free. But you need more than just a Bachelor's: you need extensive volunteering or work experience, you need to have already worked with underserved communities in your own area, etc. More advice here:

Believe it or not, Africa has lots of teachers who are desperate for work, and it's much cheaper and more beneficial to Africa to pay these Africans to teach rather than to fly you over, house you, support you, ensure your security, etc. That's why so many organizations charge people for short-term, feel-good volunteering gigs abroad -- so that no money is taken away from local people/local economies.

This "generous, wonderful woman" threw a hissy fit when Hermes (a store for the rich) wouldn't let her in because they were closed for a special event. Everything good she does get publicized, while other stars quietly do more than her and don't seek the glory Oprah does.
