Well, might help to determine your options - you've mentioned both teaching and doing a master's, and given the locations, probably hard to do both. Pick one, and they might feel a bit more secure with your choice.

But at the end of the day, you're an adult. Your parents have some moral persuasion, but as long as you're self-sufficient, they have very little power here. If they have to bail you out of trouble though, they'll have more of an argument, so make a decision that works.
