They are all Western so they are easy to understand and can relate to what you're going through. Easy answer would be yes. However, let's take a closer look. Do you have an F4 Visa (Ethnic Korean or Korean American/Canadian, etc. visa) or F2 Visa (Married to a Korean)? If yes, then you can teach with at as many different locations as you'd like.

Now if you are coming to Korea on an E2 Visa to teach English that visa is specific to a specific company and more importantly a specific location. This means you can only be paid to teach at that one location. The only exceptions would be adding a public school position to your existing E2 Visa at a private academy or hagwon. Sounds crazy, but you can't go the other way around. Adding a private school to your E2 Visa that you first go with a public school is not possible or at least extremely hard to get.

What about modeling or private tutoring. Well simply, if you have an E2 Visa again receiving money for other work would be illegal.

That all being said, people do those kinds of jobs and as long as you are making huge sums or running around flaunting it or talking it up a lot with anyone then you should be OK, but it is illegal and yes, people have be fined $1,000s for teaching privately or doing other work that they shouldn't be.

Just be careful I guess if you are wanting to do other work.
