Duane Said:

What are some tips for teaching english in an African orphanage that has zero facilities?

We Answered:

Here's some websites I thought you might wanna check out because they seem to have some neat ideas:

http://www.teachervision.fen.com/classro…

http://www.bradleys-english-school.com/

http://www.englishstudydirect.com/OSAC/l…

http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/try/ac…

I myself would even suggest using flashcards with pictures. Like for example apple would be on the front of the flashcard along with a picture of an apple, and then the meaning would be on the back of the flash card. Bingo is a nice one too. Like if you make a bingo chart and have either your mom or the students fill them in.

...Teaching in Africa...?

We Answered:

I taught in Egypt at an international school for a great wage but I am also a fully qualified teacher. You would need to do something like TEFL/TESL if you wan to teach as an unqualified teacher, but the wages are low.

Oh, BTW if you are qualified, the international jobs aree advertised in the TES and on the TES online ;-)
