I lived there for 25 years and taught in local and international schools. Most local schools do not accept foreign exchange students. They are overcrowded and teach mostly in Cantonese, which is the southern Chinese dialect. Contact the Chinese International School. I dont know if they take foreign exchange students, but they might be open to the idea. They do an IB diploma and all students are required to take Mandarin. Otherwise, you might check out programs in Shanghai or Beijing.Walter Said:

Confucianism was created in the early dynasties of China. It was their guideline for complex political structures. It played a big part in them becoming a successful civilization.
