Teaching In Saudi Arabia
Jackie Said:
What is it like teaching in Saudi? We Answered:
It seems you'll be an English language teacher. If you will dealing with the university students, it will be very easy for you, because the curriculum does not require any kind of skills, and nobody can blame you if you give all of your students F or A (u r the king).
Alternatively, if you will work in high school , you must be aware that the task would be somewhat difficult, because it require a wide experience in dealing with students who do not speak fluent English, 50% of them are careless, and they must understand the curriculum of English (at least 85% of student) , especially if you will work in a public school in Ryadh (student is the king).

Women’s experiences teaching/living in Saudi Arabia?We Answered:
Sorry for being a man to answer your question. You should be knowing about Islam and especially the Saudi culture before you go.
Dont even use the word 'Boyfriend' there.
A primitive culture is still well preserved and forced by the government. You cant even think of another man other than your husband, and its much stricter for men.
Men can get Death penalty for cheating in marriage.
Alcohol and rash driving is like applying for deportation.
Anybody found with Drugs/Narcotics can be seen publicly beheaded/executed within 2 weeks.
Steal something and have your hand(s)/finger chopped off.
Policemen are like programmed robots.. no mercy.
Women have to cover themselves outdoors with an 'Abaya' and a head-scarf is must.
One good thing is, that you'll find 'Women only' shops, banks, doctors, any kind of queues etc.
A woman's complain against anybody is very serious and extraordinarily supported.
Weather is extreme. Most the year is very hot, but if you live in the south, specially in 'Abha', you'll find jungles, hills, rivers and even tea-leaf plantations... beautiful.
The best thing about living in Saudi Arabia, is that you save a lot of money. No taxes, half rates of everything as compared to the rest of the gulf, half house rents, cheapest petrol in the world (fill a chevy in less then 10$!) extremely cheap food and lower or NO lifestyle saves 3/4s of salary on an average.
People are not so educated or clever, but big-hearted and generous. They keep distance and dont mix easily, but once they know you properly, you get royal treatment.
There are lots of Westerner colonies very well maintained.
Extramarital sex, gays, lesbians are completely alien terms.
Women, miss the lifestyle but most are happy about a well behaved and honest husband ;)
You are very lucky to get chances to explore different places..
Best of Luck.
