The main thing is to make a good CV. The process is easy and can be quick. Anybody can apply online for a job vacancy and if you are hired the employer has to arrange your residence visa.

There are many opportunities in the Middle East to teach and as things (sort of) settle down there a little after recent turbulence more teachers are heading out that way.

You'll need a degree and a TEFL certificate minimum to get a job. You have the experience which is good, however you will not be able to go for the higher level jobs without a Masters or something like that.

Saving depends on what kind of person you are. A basic salary could be about 2,500 USD per of which you could save half.

Dubai is still a fertile ground for some professions despite the crisis. Some needs are unaffected by the state of the world economy. People still need healthcare and education, for instance.

If you're looking for a stable job, find one where you get to be a core staff. That is, be a teacher in school/colleges/universities. If you're a nurse, be a nurse in a hospital or institution providing direct medical care. If you're RN and are working as a company nurse, you maybe downsized. You get the gist.
