Teaching Jobs In Atlanta
Rhonda Said:
How are teaching jobs in Atlanta, Georgia? We Answered:
Marietta (Cobb county) will get you more house for the dollar than most northern burbs while staying somewhat close to the city. Schools are good but you're not going to get a NY salary but hopefully comparable when adjusted for cost of living.Ruby Said:

What Jobs can I get in the Atlanta area with a teaching experience background? We Answered:
With no practical experience and the unemployment rate historically high at over 10% finding a good paying job in the Atlanta area isn't going to be easy. There is just way too much competition to be entering the business world with no experience to relay on.I would suggest getting your foot in the door by working with a Temp agency and looking for a job as a receptionist or file clerk. If the company likes you and you do a really good job for them they usually ask you to stay on full time.

Where in Atlanta should we look to live?We Answered:
How about Peachtree City or Newnan? A friend moved here about 8 months ago to take a job near the airport. He chose an apartment in Newnan and said the commute really wasn't too bad by Atlanta standards. If you want to find a place on the north side of the city, you might look in Sandy Springs or Dunwoody. It should be an easy trip to the MARTA station for your husband (so he can take the train to/from the airport). Then you can try for a job in Alpharetta, Cumming, Johns Creek, Suwanee, or Milton, and your commute wouldn't be too horrible because you'd be traveling against the flow of traffic. The places I named are all north of Dunwoody/Sandy Springs.
Good luck, and welcome to HOT-lanta!
