is it hard to find a teaching job in ohio?We Answered:
Early childhood is a little tougher than others because it is highly populated. But don't give up.. there are jobs out there and teachers retiring ever year. I am an entry level teacher in the columbus area starting at 36,000 without my masters (Special Education)Andrea Said:

Kimberly Said:
Is it as hard to find a teaching job in Ohio as it is in Michigan and Pennsylvania? We Answered:
No, it's not hard to find a job because they keep firing teachers at the end to the school year because of financial reason and then saying, three months later, "Oh, I guess we do have the money."Easy to get - hard to hold onto.
Katrina Said:
Will I get a teaching job in Ohio, in middle grades? We Answered:
You can most likely find a job in Ohio. It may not be where you want or in a school that you want, but there are some jobs out there. Just be prepared to move anywhere and not expect to get the best job in one of the few high paying school districts. French might help, Spanish would be better.Beverly Said:
head start teaching job considered seasonal...can I collect unemployment? We Answered:
Teachers are not allowed to collect unemployment between contractual periods.
