How can I learn to laugh and smile again? We Answered:
Think one thing at a time... solve issues one at a time, one by one....Think positive - make yourself believe that you can achieve anything.
You did well in the maths, you are a smart person. Use it.
I would stop drinking alcohol. If you know you are going to misbehave, then don't drink at all. I have much respect for those who don't drink alcohol.
Failing driving test - don't give up and keep trying. Learn what you did wrong in the previous tests, and don't do it again.
Your step-brother is not biologically related - who cares about whether you share the same genes, some people don't even have a brother. Appreciate that he is there.
When you think negative (ie, "I can't...", "I'm angry"), nothing will work out for you.
Don't take life too seriously. Take it easy, and take one step at a time. Little things that you do now, will steer you to the right direction in the future, many years down the line. Think positive, try new things, meet new people and enjoy life.

Accept University of Liverpool or University of Sussex? We Answered:
I would definitely choose the University of Sussex. I studied abroad in Brighton England during Spring 2009. I attended the University of Brighton (Falmer Campus). I absolutely LOVED Brighton. The University of Sussex was a stop on the way to my campus and it always looked so nice.I visited Liverpool while I was in England - it was very cool, I loved it for the weekend. But I would honestly rather live in Brighton. You can always go visit Liverpool (which I do recommend).
Brighton is like a "mini London" and dubbed "London-By-The-Sea" it offers a little of everything but is cheaper (and in my opinion - nicer) than London. London is only 55 minutes away by train so we went to London quite a few times while we were there but it was always nice to go back "home" to Brighton.
Since I left Brighton last July I have honestly thought of it daily and am literally counting down the days until I return. It's an amazing place - and I hope to one day call it my permanet home!

Is it going to be harder for me to get a career? We Answered:
Are you saying that you are a full time University student? If so....dont worry....all that any employer is going to look at is how well you did at Uni, the course you did and which Uni you went to.
If you have done a couple of part-time and useful jobs whilst at Uni - all the better - but its no big deal.
Good luck!

Maths tutor?We Answered:
its a lot more trouble than its worth, private tutoring. parents blame you if kid doesn't do well, even though you give appropriate material kids don't always want to work, usually pushy parents. plus time spent familiarising yourself with lots of different curricula mean its inefficient to do it unless you do a lot.i wouldnt bother, leave it to retired maths teachers who cant get pushed around, and if you do decide to do it watch the tax office or the robbing sods will be after you
