But take a number out, and you get

2 + x = 4

Show them how to solve it (subtract 2 from both sides). Then you teach them the multiply, divide part

4x + 2 = 10
4x = 8
x = 2

.Hahaha! We use math in everyday life especially when solving real-world problems so I'm not surprised because they still teach kids math at school. Knowing how to count is something that you can learn without going to school so why do we have to take math classes? I must say I'm disagree with your statement.

when u teach counting, u can use any fun and cute items to count with them like apples, flowers, animals (toys, of course) etc.

u can u use a song call "Give me an apple" but this song is only counting number 1 and 2. but u can change the lyrics!
