Firstly - I am glad to see somebody who take their dog's training so seriously :]

Smile:

Just find his pleasure points as they will smile when you find the exact spot that just loves to be scratched.
Make him drool.
Engage the dog in an activity he loves like fetch, playing with other dogs etc.

Then use the command smile/grin while he is doing so and reward him. This trick take time - about 4 months for an average dog but its an amazing trick!



Play Dead.

First give him the down command and see which is the side that he leans more to then using the command 'play dead' gently push him to the floor until he is lying and then tell him to 'wait' and reward him after saying 'play dead'


For both of them just continue to practice this over and over.
Use a happy singsong voice and lots of positive reinforcement. Eventually, your dog will understand :]

SQ3R method: Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review

First, Survey or pre-read the chapter titles, headings and subheading. Then Question (who, what, where, why, when) before you begin reading from your survey. Then Read through each section, keep a dictionary handy of words you don't know, read carefully but don't "fixate" on sections too long. Then Recite, which is your times to discuss the material with others, try answering your questions, explain the main points of the chapters. The Review ... go back and read it again.

A good book of reference is Cornerstone: Building Your Best by Robert Sherfield, et al., about college learning strategies.

The BEST way to train a dog is finding a real and reputable trainer who can assess your dog and assess what method is best to work with.

The WORST way to train a dog is by listening to a bunch of people on the internet who you don't know. Too many people are too biased.

False. There were no "Indians" in the New World because it was not India. There were Native Americans. The Spanish stole their land, enslaved the Native Americans and forced them to build the missions, forced their religion on the Natives and forced them to speak a new language.

Just as today, much abuse and crime was commited "in the name of God".

This would be something you would want to bring up with the career counselor at the college you plan to attend. You may want to see if there's a composite social studies social studies certification you can get; this would allow you to teach any of the social sciences such as history, government, geography, psychology, etc.
