Virginia Teaching Jobs
Arthur Said:
Which state has relatively low cost of living, 4 seasons, mild winters / summers and available teaching jobs?We Answered:
A thought provoker! I'd try Pennsylvania. You've got the Poconos, and the cities of Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Pittsburg.I'd try Tennessee. You've got the Great Smokies, Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville.
I'd try Massachusetts. You've got the Berkshires, Springfield, and Amherst. (Boston's further and bigger.)
I'd try Rhode Island. You're not that far from The Berkshires, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Green Mountains of Vermont. You've got the cities of Providence and Newport.
Eduardo Said:
Where should I move for a teaching job? Virginia? Maryland? We Answered:
I taught for a year in Maryland. It was pretty easy to find a job, and none of the teachers were older than 30, because all move to where they can get paid more. Cost of living is high, but it's a good way to get a year or two of experience, then come back to PA.
