Did you fill out any forms? Did you pay with a credit card by chance? If it was all by phone AND you were NOT recorded, you can tell your credit card company they insisted on getting your card number but wouldn't put anything through unless you decided to go forward. Then you saw the charge but didn't authorize it. It's only because you said it's a scam that I'm suggesting this way. Now, if you did sign and/or were recorded, you call them and tell them you demand a full refund and give them ten days to comply. If they refuse, call your consumer advocate and/or a local college or university and ask a counselor for some help. There are all kinds of internet sites you can report them to as well! Just start googling "Complaints against on-line schools" or "consumer complaints" and so on. Good luck! It may not be worth all the stress and aggravation in the end though for $99. I know it's your hard earned money, but you may be better off having learned a lesson that will save you thousands in the future? Good luck!
