Are there any nice, reasonable hotels near Boston University? We Answered:
A lot of BU parents stay at the Holiday Inn in Brookline (right on the Boston border). You can get a room fairly cheap online about $119/night last time I checked. However, I know from experience - I used to work there - that if the hotel is sold out, they give the smallest rooms in the hotel to anyone who books on Expedia or Hotels.com (or any other website like that).Your best bet is to find something close to BU but not too close because everything directly around it is VERY expensive. Good luck!

cheap hotels near Boston university? We Answered:
10 days in summer runs into the Red Sox schedule, and BU is next to Fenway Park. That turns cheap hotels into not-so-cheap ones. But try the Howard Johnson in Fenway and the Buckminster in Kenmore first. Also the Best Western Inn at Longwood (there's a free shuttle and several buses that go through BU from there), or google Longwood Medical Area Inns. There's also a youth hostel near Kenmore, and the Berkeley Residence in Back Bay, but on the Green Line that goes to BU. There's a Holiday Inn in Brookline on Beacon Street that's walkable to BU (or Green Line C to Kenmore), and a Best Western terrace Inn on Comm Ave about 8 stops out on the Green Line B.Or try Priceline.
