Jones International University is a regionally accredited school which means that the degree you get is a real degree. The school system you are applying to work for will recognize the degree. Now if your trying to become a college professor you may find it difficult to find a job because there are alot of people trying for those positions with much higher ranked credentials.

If I was you, I wouldn't go to an online university because most people fail because they can't get the help that they need. If you are studying business, you can go to a community college for one year and get your certificate. You don't need a bachelor's degree in business if you plan on opening up your own business, you can just fill out a couple of forms and you will have your own business.

Generally, I think, employers prefer degrees from a campus type school. It would, however, depend on what field you are in. If the career involves working with people, then it would be more important to attend a campus type school than if you were looking for a job in accounting.
