I went to London Met to do my Masters degree because it is 1 of only 2 uni's that did a placement module that i wanted to do.

I too was worried that it wasnt a good Uni, but my department and lecturers were really good. And i had the best year of my life there.

The important thing is knowing WHO will be your teachers - do they have a good reputation etc?

It depends on what you want. London Met is not the best Uni in the world, but its what you take from it, that counts. Make friends, work hard and you will probably get a better degree than people who went to a good uni and didnt work as hard.

I'm going to assume you mean you need to confirm his enrollment or complete ion of courses. Call the registrars office of the school and see what the procedure would be.

It might depend on what subject you're taking, but my impression is generally pretty dreadful. My son's there at the moment doing Electronics and they took him on a late application as they still had places after clearing and he had no A Levels and only half of a BTec, which is not a good sign, and he doesn't like it very much. It also seems to be having a bit of a funding crisis at the moment. I did Fine Art there which I wouldn't recommend either. Its strengths are possibly areas where it incorporated trade colleges like the London College of Furniture and John Cass for jewellery.
