Pennsylvania State University, Lehigh University, Robert Morris University, or University of Scranton?

We Answered:

Lehigh definitely has the best reputation. It also has a stellar engineering program and is very well ranked. Lehigh engineering graduates invented the escalator and built the Golden Gate Bridge among other things. The facilities are also first-rate. It is of course, a very competitive program and you must remember to show demonstrated interest when applying! They weight this heavily.

Katherine Said:

do chicago robert morris university help you find a job after graudation?

We Answered:

Robert Morris University has a Career Center that's designed for helping students find a job and other career matters. See http://sentry.rmu.edu/web/cms/studentlif… .

However, not all university/college career centers are alike. Some have better staff and resources than others. You should try to ask alumni and soon-to-be graduating students about their experiences to find out a practical picture of the help that the RMU Career Center provides.

Also, you can look up statistics regarding the school's job placement rates, and compare it to other schools. Of course, it's stated here - http://graduate.rmu.edu/admfaq/career-se… ; however, looking at independent sources via the library or web (particularly as it pertains to your major) would be better.

is robert morris university in chicago a good school?

We Answered:

Define "good" and "decent". Also, what field are you in? Colleges have different strengths and weaknesses. For instance, my alma mater was top-rank in math, poli sci, and pre-med, but you wouldn't send a violin protege there, and the econ department was quite weak in places.

Can you compare the rates of students going on in graduate school, or getting jobs right after graduation? Is there any other measure of success you can use? Would you want to chat with alumni when they show up for homecoming? They're not exactly a random sample, but you can get a nice variety of opinions outside some of the events.
