I'm not sure about how prestigious the program is, but I know a girl who is going to Johnson State College in Vermont next year for creative writing. And she's an excellent writer, so I'd imagine she picked a school that would suit her needs. If you want to look at an extra tough school, I know that my teacher went to Miami University (Ohio, not Florida) and pretty much exclusively focuses on literature (American, but that's because of the curriculum) and creative writing. You might want to check that out, too.

I don't think solent university is bad at all. I have a friend who goes there and it's a nice campus and my friend doesn't have any problems with it. what about trying leeds or manchester metropolitan universities, because these are 2 of the biggest and flexible (on grade requirements) too. But anyway whatever your option good luck.
