where is better to get a CPA?Texas A&M, The Ohio State or Northern Illinois University? We Answered:
Honestly, I think the best school would be in the area of the country you want to live in. (Texas) Aggies hire other Aggies. If you want to live in Texas, I'd definitely go with TAMU. However, if you want to live in the north, OSU is probably your best choice. If you're leaving the country afterwards, it sounds like NIU might be an option worth consideration.Michael Said:
Which Texas University would be better to attend? We Answered:
I have been to 2 different universities in texas and am currently getting my masters at UT austin. I would say dont go to tech. the town sucks and the people in west texas are a bit..um..different...pluse i have no credible proof but its a rumor that tech has the highest STD rate in the US in colleges or something like that. It does depend on what you want to do though and major in. For example i wen tot UT becuse it has one of the top petroleum engineering schools in the world so it worked out for me. Not to mention a good football team lots of greek life and jsut a ton of stuff to do> Not to mention sixth street and lots of like minded college students. A&M is sort of liek a watered down version of that.UTD is good and so is UTA. Another school to look at if your considering name and renown is Baylor in Waco. Good luck. Hope you become a longhorn.

4 months in Minnesota or Texas for a real american experience? We Answered:
Come to Minnesota! Are you going to St. Mary's in Winona or the St. Mary's in Minneapolis? Both are very nice. both near the mississippi. hills, water, green spaces, shopping, ethnic communities and fun funky neighborhoods and small town Americanna where "all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average," (to quote Garrison Keillor in Prairie Home Companion)Dana Said:

As an OSU alum, I'm a little biased. However, the Fisher College of Business would offer you an excellent education. As for passing the exam, you're not going to pass just from getting an accounting degree. You'll need to take a CPA review course of some sort. I would pick the college you are most interested in, and worry about passing the CPA exam after you graduate. Good luck to you!

Which Texas University is best for car enthusiast? We Answered:
Honestly, I am biased towards A&M, but they both have very solid engineering programs. Pretty soon you'll have a longhorn come on here oozing arrogance and preaching how you'll "never fit in at A&M," but I hope you at least go visit. My time at Texas was a lot less accepting than my time at A&M.
