Universities In Denmark

Warren Said:

i want to know the universities in denmark that has got black students?

We Answered:

pretty much all universities have black students in denmark. A lot of universities have many MANY international students, and a lot of those come from Africa, China, and the middle east. I know of at least 20 black students at my own university in Roskilde, Denmark (and that is only in one part of the university, not the university as a whole).

Julia Said:

How is university in Denmark or Sweden?

We Answered:

The fees are quite high (in my opinion) but vary from university to university, so I can't give you a general price.

If you want to study engineering in Denmark, it is DTU, the danish technical university you want: http://www.dtu.dk/English.aspx
The tuition fee for paying students enrolled in a DTU study program is DKK 102,500/EUR 13,500 per academic year. However, the six-month traineeship portion of the B Eng costs DKK 10,600.

It will be possible to have a student job while studying, many students have them. They don't pay very well, but they help :)

Hilda Said:

Where can I find a list of the rankings for universities in Denmark?

We Answered:

If I remember No Danish Uni made it into the top 45, I think Copenhagen made it 48th ish and Aarhus made it to 80 something.

There are far better places to study, don't forget that the place where you study also adds appeal to prospective employers.

As another question you have no better chances of getting work here just because you studied here.

Sheila Said:

Are there really tuition-free universities in Denmark & Norway?

We Answered:

You are not being charged for education here in Denmark. Not primary, high school or any other level of public education, including university, technical college, and e.g. business school. During your study (if you are 18 of age or older) ALL are entitled to a grant. A monthly fee/support (aprx. $750) which you receive as long as your education is nominated to last (e.g. 5 y. for a MA).

zaxxon is right, taxes are rather high, but we get value for money, I think. ALL go to high school (or similar), and most continue and take some other education after that. If not formal (like uni or business school, e.g. then within the corp. business)

Discuss It!
