Which one among this Aussie universities would be the best for an exchange student majoring in translation? We Answered:
G'day,Unfortunately you did not mention translation between English to what language.
All universities that you mentioned are fully accredited and the same recognition of their graduates. Facilities are pretty much the same in every university. They have also widely accepted internaitonal students in their campuses. You can check abt the international students ratio from this website: www.idp.edu.au.
Therefore, I think your choice can be narrowed down to the city where the uni is in:
Living Expenses: Sydney & Canberra the most expensive; Melbourne & Brisbane 2nd most expensive; Adelaide, Perth, Darwin & Hobart is the lowest.
Weather: Brisbane & Darwin warmest; Sydney and Perth cooler; Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne & Hobart cold
Size: Sydney biggest, Melbourne 2nd biggest, then come Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide then Hobart and Darwin
Wollongong is a small city 2-3hrs drive from Sydney. Same climate, slightly cheaper than Sydney to live in.
Griffith uni is in Brisbane.
Macquarie is in Sydney.
Hope this helps. Unfortunately I cannot choose the uni for you :) However you might have a better response by re-posting this question in Travel - Australia - General, since more Australians are checking the forum more often.
Good luck on your study and welcome to Australia :)

Distance between University of Sydney and University of New South Wales? We Answered:
You're in luck, they're both very close to each other! From Central train station, University of Sydney is about 15 minutes walk away and UNSW is about 10 minutes away by bus.Franklin Said:
Admission for universities in sydney? We Answered:
I got mine by post. However that was in 1993.I would imagine offers would be done over the internet these days. I know the students get the UAI results over the internet now. Email the UAC and find out.
