UIC is easy to get into but it is harder stay in. UIC doesn't use grade inflation hardly at all as oppose to Loyola, University of Chicago, and U of I. UIC is great, I've hard, and it's in the center of Chicago, You're in downtown Chicago. There's so much to do. Loyola's tuition is ridiculously expensive ($30,000 per year), and I doubt you'd get hardly any considerable grants or scholariship to compensate for the tuition. And I hear the academics are seem quite unchallenging and students would transfer to public colleges like UIC .

There are 2 suggested routes. Both start out with the METRA Union Pacific West line.

One, for $4.00 has you exit at Kedzie AV METRA station and then take a CTA bus #52 to The CTA blueline take that east to Racine...walk south to UIC.

On the other route, for $4.15 you will exit METRA at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, downtown, then a CTA #125 bus from Madison & Clinton south to Van Buren, then another CTA bus #126 Racine. Exit and walk south to UIC. See for yourself below:
