the admissions office of the college has a web site. it shows the requirements for admission s a freshman, and for admission as a transfer student from a junior college and from a community college, as well as from another four year school

A lot of students live in the area between the campuses. The area is not too pricey and are you near public transportation (Blue line and several bus lines. The local supermarkets are Dominick's at Halsted and Madison, Canal and Roosevelt, and Damen and Chicago (convenient from the west campus). There are Jewel's at Roosevelt and Paulina (campus shuttle stops across the street) and State and Roosevelt. I lived on the west campus, and for groceries I went to the Jewel at Paulina and Roosevelt or the Dominick's at Chicago and Damen. There are a number of bars on Taylor St. and University Village. You can easily access downtown.

Your right in the mix, its possible... idk if a 23 is good or not on the ACT, i only can compare with SAT's, but depending on your extracurriculars its not out of the question, id say yes if your in a couple clubs and do well on the admission
