Which is better : Newcastle University or Cranfield University for Postgraduate course in Pipeline engineeringWe Answered:
I agree that Newcastle Upon Tyne is a neat town to live in.However, I have worked extensively with Newcastle University grads (one an ex-professor, and one a current professor), plus several with PhD's and Masters, and can assure you that the quality of their professors and grads is, to be generous, mediocre. This includes their verbal and writing skills (all are native English speakers), their scientific skills (granted they all have engineering degrees, but I expect engineers with graduate degrees to be able to design and interpret simple experiments), and their general technical knowledge.
Surely Cranfield must be better than these guys! Still, a lot of the quality of the education has to do with the individual, so you might still be able to get a decent education there.

How is the University of Newcastle? We Answered:
i grew up the the uk and now teach in the usa.being a mathematician most of my school classmates went to Newcastle uni because they had an excellent engineering course.
they said that football- what we call soccer was big in the town- it was pretty grey up there as n'csatle used to be an industry town.
people preferred going there as to Mancehster which was totally a student town.
I would try and find the college league tables on the unis, on each subject- sorry cant fnd that link now.....

Why is HRH Princess Eugenie of York going to University in Newcastle? We Answered:
No doubt for the same reasons as it's normal in the UK for people to go to university some way from home - it has the course she wants to do, or she just wants to go there. She has actually said that her reason is "it's a great city" and given her love of partying and going out with friends, it will suit her. There are plenty of other British universities that offer English and history of art! Being independent is certainly part of "the university experience" - I felt it was. I didn't go far away from home, but far enough to be away from the family and I appreciated it.Her accent won't fit in though - I wonder if she'll learn to speak Geordie?
Prince Willliam attended St Andrew's, which is even further away (unless the Royal Family is at Balmoral, but that's not during term time).

How Far is Newcastle University from University of Sunderland? We Answered:
the easiest way to get from one to another would be by metro. you can get the metro from monument near newcastle university to the university metro station in sunderland or st peters depending on where your campus is located, both of which would take around 40 minutes on the metro. from the airport metro station to sunderland it takes slightly longer like 55 minutes to an hourManuel Said:
