I did a quick google and couldn't find any reference to there being any swine flu cases at the Uni. Remember, most are on holiday at the moment, although I suppose many remain on campus during the holidays.

I know a friend at Sheffield Uni- he loves it! (Sorry I don't know much about it) .. I live in Sheffield. And it's a great city. Outside the Uni there's this huge water fountain, that lights up and looks wicked at night. Also the uni is really close to the train station and the city center. Great for bars, shopping, gig scenes.. all that sort of stuff :) ... 'Never been to portsmouth in my life, so this could sound biased, but i'd choose sheffield anyday!

I go to Kent Uni and have a couple of friends studying architecture and they seem to absolutely love their course. I don't really ask them much about it tbh...but they're happy. & it's a fab uni! There is only one club on campus, but there are 5 other bars...and each have their own special night that they go a bit bar style/clubby for. As for town, there are two most popular bars 'The Works' and 'Chill' and there's a bar called 'Penny Theatre' that everyone LOVES (I've not been yet) because it's so cheap. So obv, I'm gonna say COME TO KENT :D.

HOWEVER, if you're from the north...don't come for the nightlife lol. Prices are such a contrast. I'm from the north, was expecting £1 drinks... Clearly, they're student prices are the norths non-student prices £2-4). Haha. Apart from that Penny which does have pound drinks I believe.
