One bedroom apartments around the University of Sydney?

We Answered:

You are going to be hard pressed to find something - the majority of accommodation around the uni are townhouses (2-4 bedroom around $500-600 per week). The University is on the edge of the city - surrounded on one side by shops and offices. There is Unilodge which is nearby - bedsit acommodation for uni students but I understand that that is rather expensive . its where the asian students normally stay. The University is on a major rail and bus hub so a cheaper option would be to look around the major flat areas (Parramatta, Harris Park, Westmead, Auburn or other areas around 20-30 minutes by train).

Derek Said:

will I get admission in University Of Sydney after filling the application form?

We Answered:

Well...it depends a lot on what your situation is.

If you are applying on the basis of qualifications obtained in another country, your application will be assessed for its equivalence to Australian tertiary entry standards. You may also need to sit an English proficiency test (see below).

There's this page for international students.

Cheap trips for student at the University of Sydney?

We Answered:

check out webjet.com.au or http://studentflights.com.au/ .NZ is pretty cheap to get to, if going to NZ you really are better off doing it solo rather than in a tour group. NZ is really easy to get around and very similar to Aus. Ive never been to thailand and dont know alot

How much do you have to score in the HSC to enter the University of Sydney ?

We Answered:

There are no HSC course prerequisites for admission into the majority of the University’s courses. Instead, there are levels of assumed knowledge and recommended studies.

The Assumed knowledge levels are what the University expects enrolled students to have studied or to know before completing high school. Recommended studies are courses that may assist the student in their degree if they have previous knowledge of the subject area.

Levels of assumed knowledge are advertised in the University’s publications, such as the prospectus and in the UAC Guide. You will not be prevented from enrolling in your course of choice if you haven't completed assumed knowledge subjects, but you may find it difficult to manage the work. Bridging courses are also available to help you get up to speed.
