Almost any liquor store, and there a ton of them on the East side of Milwaukee, will sell a  ¼ or ½ barrel. There is a large liquor store on Oakland Avenue near Bradford.

The Film program in the Peck School of the Arts is a growing power that, at the bachelor's degree level, has three inter-related tracks: Film/Video/New Genres, Conceptual Studies in Media Arts Production, and Photography. Rob Yeo is the department chairperson and is well-respected on campus. Contact him if you have any specific questions (or just want to start to get to know the faculty on staff).

The on-campus dorms date back a few decades, but are extremely well maintained (my son lived there from 06-08). The four towers are like a small town with its own movie theater, convenience store, and workout room. The off-campus dorms are a little more than a mile away from campus, served by shuttles 24 hours a day. One opened in January 2008 and the other opens in Fall 2010.

The UWM LGBT Resource Center is very active and works with other organizations across campus.

Or, try gonig to the UW-Milwaukee for a few months or a semester or two. Get your grades up and show that you are serious about this. Then, try to transfer over to UWM. This would show that you are trying to improve your grades.
