Cape Town is the more well known of the two, it is also always the highest ranked university in South Africa.

Many people who study at UCT go on to study at top institutions around the world.

Sciences is one of UCT's strong points, so you should recieve a very good education.

You know that almost all of us speak English right? And that we are just like the US with cities and jobs and malls and things. I have to agree we have cool accents ^_^

I don't know anyone at Wits, so I can't say how hard it is to get in. I know a few people at NMMU http://www.nmmu.ac.za/ so if you were considering going there I could be of more help.

You know it's going to be very expensive to get your visa and to pay for tuition and accomodation not to mention the flight to get here.

Anyway, hope I could help a little, and I hope everything works out with your university plan :)

And I was wondering why the temperatures were a bit warmer than normal here on the norther hemisphere! Instead of having the usual frosts at night, we have had 9 °C at night, and a "scorching" 20 to 26°C in the day!

You will need to contact the spanish consulate in Capetown. Wouldn't really know what you would need to do being South African, but I imagine it will be difficult as you need a tourist visa to even visit spain.
