College Online Question?

We Answered:

Why don't you check your local university/community college? I attend the community college in my area and they offer plenty of online classes. I'm in my 3rd semester, and all of the classes I have taken have been online. If you did it this way, you wouldn't have to worry about whether completely online schools are worth it or not...You will know that your degree comes from a legitimate school, and unless you show everyone your transcripts, most will not know you took online courses. It's just a thought.....good luck

How can I get money to go out of state for college?

We Answered:

You can file for financial aid with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with your school at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

You may be eligible for grants, loans and/or work-study to help pay for tuition cost.
How much you eligible for will depend on your family income/tax return, actual enrollment and tuition cost.

If you are under 24, no kids, not married--you MUST file with your parent's income/tax return information, if you do not provide this information, you will not qualify for any grants or low interest loans.

has anyone gone to Wayland Baptist University and couldn't transfer their credits to another University?

We Answered:

Always check the accreditation of church schools and colleges and any private colleges, too. Some are not accredited by the standards that are met by most state universities. If you go to a college or university for over a year, the college you apply to might take your credits or might not. It's up to the college you apply to, so when you go to a community college or a junior college, make sure the college you want to go to later will accept all of your credits .
