More importantly...why are you going to college? To eventually get a job. When you start searching for a job to pay off your college debts, they will not care what college you came from. They will only allow people with years of experience to apply for the job you want. So, it doesn't matter where you're from, only that you're experienced in your field. What will they think of next? Prestige has nothing to do with getting a job, unless you impress your professors so much that they get you a job. So my advice is don't attend a university which teaches you to stick your nose up in the air, but attend a university which is guaranteed to help you land a job.

Probably because it is considered a better college. However, USC is also a fine school, and if you are studying the art and craft of filmmaking, its probably the best school in the world.
