You fixed the link!!!!! <3ok... so...
"How many different-sized rectangles are there?"
i'd say 2 even though there are 3 rectangles, they only are in 2 sizes "big/small"
area: the small rectangle:
A = L X W
A = 7 X __ <---- the width is 2, given in the diagramm
A = 7 X 2
A = 14
area: the big rectangle:
A = L X W
A = 9.9 X __ <---- the width is 2, given in the diagramm
A = 9.9 X 2
A = 19.8
How many triangles of the same size are there?
2 <---- top and bottom if u lay prism flat.
area: the triangle:
A = (b × h) ÷ 2
A = (7 X 7) ÷ 2
A = 49 ÷ 2
A = 24.5
Surface Area
(2 × area of small rectangles) + (area of large rectangle) + (2 × area of triangle)
(2 × 14) .............................. + (19.8) ......................... + (2 × 24.5)
28 + 19.8 + 49
=96.8cm²
