You seriously can't organize this? You don't know when to set your alarm clock? You could have done that before you typed all this out.

The first thing to do is get rid of all non-essentials. That means what you WANT to do. That means exercise, running, etc. It's not ESSENTIAL (unless you can study while on the treadmill).

You don't NEED to talk to your friends.

If it's not due tomorrow, put it at the end of your list.

I don't get your teacher's example either. You use inference to determine the meaning of unknown words. You derive the meaning of assent by the words around it. That would be context clues.

He nodded his head in assent.

From the word "nodded" you can infer that "assent" means agreement.
