I know you said don't say practice more, but that will help. But I don't mean doing a whole bunch of pages at once, more like a few everyday. Over time you will be able to see an improvement and it will come to you more naturally.
Some things you can do now to make your handwriting look better would be to slant it to the right. That makes it look a lot neater and prettier. Another is to write on lined paper and make sure that the bottom of each letter touches the line before continuing on the next and that each letter lines up and is approximately the same height unless your dealing with l's, t's, k's, etc.
