Katrina Said:

Would there be any demand for primary school worksheets in Irish (for free) on the internet?

We Answered:

Plenty of people will want that kind of thing, so do put them online, and maybe you could put them on a particular website so that you can get ads linked to them and make a little extra cash or something. Get something back for your efforts, you know?

Saving money with kids?

We Answered:

Make your own birthday cake instead of a store bought cake save $15-$20.00
Email all of the baby name brand suppliers and they will send you tons of coupons. Good Start sent me at least 3 coupons for a free can of formula the big can. Plus others as well.
Play a board game with your kids on Saturday instead of taking them to the mall.
Refuse to buy your kids name brand clothes for retain price get them at Goodwill garage sales. A 9 yr old does not need a $50 pair of jeans to be "cool" or because they say Limited too. Don't let her think she does. If she really wants them make her work for them she will at least appreciate them more.
Buy applesause in the big jar it is $2.00 for a Quart vs $3.00 for 6 tiny little cups.
Make your own hair bows with a glue gun and ribbon and metal clips.
Let the kids have fun making their own Christmas ornaments out of salt dough and cookie cutters and paint.
When the kids room is over flowing with toys, take most of them out only leave the ones they play with the most, then a couple weeks later give them back a couple that you took out they will love it all over again. Every week "surprise" them with a "new" toy.

Confused with this Japanese dialog.. help?

We Answered:

Translation:
There are a variety of fastivals in Japan. Usually, men and women carry the portable shrine and walk all over the town on those days. The portable shrine leaves a Shinto shrine, parades all ove the town and returns to the shrine. There are childrens's portable shrines too, small and light.
On the fastival days, people visit temples and pray. Street stalls make rows around the temples. You can buy octopus muffins and cotton candies, also, play simple games such as Dipping for goldfish and Catch a floating yo-yo with a hook at the stalls. Both children and adults love festivals as they are so cheerful and fun. In summer fastival days, they tend to wear yukatas as they are cool and comfortable to wear.
In either July and August nights, there are Bon dancing at temples and squares - a lot of people get together and dance there. Unskilled/awkward dancers are welcomed. In the evenings, children dance also. People usually wear yukata to dance but any clothing is acceptable.
The festivals and bon odori are such a enjoyable memory to Japanese.

Not wo mitte but wo katte( buy) > therefore, buy and eat.

The number 3 is the only correct one.

Kanji:
Mise: stroke 3 should be connected to stroke 2.
onna(not onano): stroke can be either way, but don't go over much but only barely. To be safe, try not to go over.

Writings:
Always try to be as balanced and square as you can. Release your pen stroke smoothly, e.g. otoko - the 6th & 7th(last) stroke, and 3rd stroke in onna. I know english doesn't have such a stroke. Unless the stroke shows slant, the lines should be straight vartical or holizontal. When you learn how to release the pen and where to put strength, your writings improve. Hint: If you practice how to write shuji(brush artistic writings), your writings will be beautiful. But you certainly did a teriffic job in writings for a non-Japanese person!
