My question is Why would the parents want there child to have more homework?My daughter is only in 1st grade & I dread homework. Even thought she has easy (to me) things to do. My daughter has homework 4 days a week. No h-work on Wednesdays (due to some families attending church) or the weekends. 2 math pages & 1 or 2 short story books to read.
Your the teacher do what you think you'd want for your kids when they come home. Would you want them to be doing homework ALL evening/night & spend no time with the family and/or friends?
