What are the proper medical names for these joints? We Answered:
The shoulder has four joints (three anatomical, one physiologic). I think you're looking for the glenohumeral joint, which is between the humerus and the scapula. The elbow has two joints, but the primary is the humeroulnar joint between the humerus and the ulna. The joints between the radius and ulna are called the proximal radioulnar and distal radioulnar joints. For a sense of accuracy, you should realize that all of these are synovial joints. The ball and socket is just a specific subtype. The only nonsynovial joint in the shoulder is the scapulothoracic joint, which is not even between two bones. It's a junction formed by muscles attaching to the scapula and the thoracic cage.

Lymphatic System Paragraph Question?We Answered:
The lymphatic system is a specialized subdivision of the circulatory system. Although the cardiovascular system has a pump (the heart) and arteries, veins, and capillaries, the lymphatic system lacks two of these structures: the HEART/PUMP and the ARTERIES. Like the VEINS of the cardiovascular system, the vessels of the lymphatic system are equipped with VALVES to prevent backflow. The lymphatic vessels act primarily to pick up leaked fluid, now called LYMPH, and return it to the bloodstream. About ____ of the fluid is returned ever 24 hours.I will tell you i'm not 100% on one of the first two because i don't want to give you the wrong answers. But the first two could be pump and arteries. This is because the lymph is not pumped around the body it is simply a free flow network of vessels that absorbs lost fluid and returns it to the blood stream. I don't know how much is returned.
