Definatly go and see your Senco and I would report the teacher for laughing. My son wasn't tested till he was 13 when I asked school to test him and his dyslexia is pretty bad. The school he goes to has a dyslexia unit but it still took me to say. They said he must be pretty clever to have coped all these years without help. He's now also been diagnosed with Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia. Go and see your senco tomorrow. It seems if you dont disrupt your class and carry on your best they assume your fine or just thick! My sons hand writing got worse as he got older he is now using a laptop in all his written work lessons and exams. He is alao 16 and about to take his GCSEs. you may find you have dyspraxia, there is a lot of crossover of syptoms with Specfic Learning Difficulties.
