Résumé help much appreciated?We Answered:
I'm sorry, but I can't get really excited about your skills, though I suspect that they are considerable. You have hit-the-mark on a few entries (e.g., "consistently produced sales above the national average) but mostly you put in "motherhood and apple-pie" type comments and don't provide enough objective data for a would-be employer to evaluate the experience. You need more "meat" - details on what the job demands were (e.g., in the VAlue Carpets position, you should tell how many people you supervised or the approximate value of the inventory managed and then describe some specific accomplishment(s) or some event/activity you are particularly proud of. In the telesales positions, tell what the "national average" figure was and what YOUR result was; mention any recognition you received (e.g., Sales Associate of the Quarter, $Million Dollar Pin, whatever).Unless you're looking for an Admin position, your description of your computer learning is way over-emphasized.
Describe some dimensions of the fraternit treasurer position; mention some particular accomplishment(s).
Don't assume the reader knows what your references mean (e.g., Awana) and mention specific things you did in thoese community outreach programs.
Your degree is contained in a section called Education - not overview
It might not hurt for you to state some sort of Objective at the front of the resume.
I am assuming you are relatively young, but there may be some real paydirt in that "family business." Tell them what that business really was; give it some dimension; tout some special accomplishment(s), all done while you were still in School. And if you're not as young as I suspect, the details of that period of your life (e.g., between high school and college, maybe) is even more important.
Resumes need to tell someone WHY they should consider you for their position, not just be a Promissory Note claiming "I'm a quick learner / hard worker / people person" with solid basic skills, ready to work hard for you. Blowing one's own horn is a very hard thing to do, but it is essential in somehting like this.

I need safety sign worksheets and functional signs for a student? We Answered:
go to google , at the top hit the tab that says images. Then type in what you are looking for in the search box and you should get plenty. Good luck !Jimmie Said:
Are 15 pages of worksheets a day to much for a Special Needs child in a life Skills class? We Answered:
YES! Every teacher is different, but that is too much for any teacher to be giving. The purpose for a Life Skills class is to teach skills necessary for functioning in the real world. Dittos are not real life skills. Unfortunately many in our profession are lateral entry teachers, meaning that their degree is in another field, this may be the case with your daughters teacher. The teacher may be willing to reasses your child's work load after conferencing with you. Otherwise, reconveine IEP team immediatley- it is your right!Carrie Said:
What is better? Kumon vs E.Nopi? We Answered:
I have two kids 8 and 12, and used to have both registered in Kumon programs. However, I noticed that many of my kids' parents were taking the kids out of the Kumon, and upon questioning them, I was so thrilled to find the answer. They were taking their kids to E.Nopi center. They offer much superior programs at even or slightly higher rate, but they are worth every dime you spend. The critical thinking programs not only allow the kids to learn the math concepts at a much faster rate than kumon, but actually turn out students who are smarter and better prepared, as the critical thinking math as well as writing programs in English prepare the students to excel in SAT and SAT II.Trust me. My kids have just been so much happier working with E.Nopi worksheets and they have been getting straight A's not only in Math and English, but science, social-science, and history classes as well. The results are not only seen in the grades, but also in their attitudes that they present themselves as much smarter kids and in conversations, they approach with better confidence and logical reasoning that you can't buy with any amounts of money.
Thank goodness for E.Nopi..
