Do you need a high proficiency in math to pursue Psychiatry? We Answered:
Well in order to be considered for med school you will need college level calculus and also chemistry and organic chemistry. While chemistry is a science it relies pretty heavily on formulas and calculations. Pre med studies aren't horribly math oriented but if you want to be considered you'll need at least a 3.5 GPA which means you'll have to work your butt off in all the courses you take, including calculus. The question you really need to ask yourself is what are your science skills like? Liberal arts aptitude will have little to no bearing on your ability to complete medical school. You'll need to be extremely strong in science. If this is a strength of yours then I say go ahead and get some tutoring for calculus so that it doesn't ruin your GPA. If science is not your strong suit then maybe you should try becoming a Ph.D in psychology. You wont be able to prescribe meds but you'll be able to counsel.Dorothy Said:

Teaching Children Math using web-based resources? We Answered:
What you need are some children's games that do some sort of counting. I do this with my daughter and she likes it, but truly gets bored with the internet version of math, but you are certainly welcome to try. I would recommend the following sites to get you started:
