Can you help me with this math word problem? We Answered:
1/.7= 1.428 This is the reciprocal. It shows the relationship between 70% and 100%. If you divided 70 by 100, you would have the same result.21*1.428 = 29.988
Therefore Texas has 30 seats. Even in Texas, they couldn't gerrymander .988 congressmen.
Proof: 30*.7= 21

Could you help me with this math word problem? We Answered:
the area of one is Xthe area of the other is x/2 - 600
when these are added together the total is 9000
x + x/2 - 600 = 9000
solve this for x ( X = 6400)
one is 6400
the other is 6400/2 - 600 which is 2600
6400 + 2600 = 9000

This type of problems are always solve using reciprocals, remember that:x= time together
