Parts Of Speech Worksheets
William Said:
Parts of speech help!?We Answered:
Those are prepositions. Think of prepositions as anything you can do to a noun. i.e. He walked "around" the chair", he went "inside" the house. When "left" is pertaining to dircection, it's a noun. Otherwise if he "left" the party, it's a verb b/c it shows action and the "left" side of the building is an adjective b/c it describes something.
Hope this helps.
