is possessive plural. ex: The students' workbooks.

A simple sentence has one subject and one verb. A compound sentence has more than one or is two sentences joined together.

Personal pronoun - I, you, he, she, etc.
Possessive pronoun - hers, mine, your, their
Demonstrative- THAT book, THIS car, THOSE boots were made for walking.

cat=noun
cat's tail= cat became possessive when an apostrophe was added
