this q is a lil broad. Just think about the carbon cycle, nitrogen cycle in the soil, photosynthesis in plants, and respiration (ATP producing) : and how bi products (enzymes etc) can be used by other pathways, and that each cycle could be rate limiting to each other. in any pathway u have intermediates and waste (bi) products. The bi products are used directly or indirectly (broken down/phosphorylated etc). In an ecosystem, all of the pathways would be linked, and could affect each other. I am guessing u are supposed to understand the bigger picture and how they work and are all important for each other. Think out of the box a little! Hope i helped.
